Dennis W. Milburn President and CEO, Director
Dennis Milburn has more than 45 years of experience in the mineral exploration and mineral financing industries. He was co-founder of NIM Management Ltd., the general partner of a group of flow through partnerships that raised over $700 million for mineral exploration in Canada. Mr. Milburn received a BSc. degree in Honours Geology from the University of British Columbia and later received the designation of Chartered Accountant in British Columbia. Mr. Milburn has overall responsibility for all aspects of Cosigo's activities, including financing and exploration project management.
Dr. Joseph H. Montgomery Executive Vice President, Director
Dr. Montgomery is a Professional Engineer and holds a Doctorate Degree in Geology from the University of British Columbia. He has consulted for government agencies in Canada and abroad, and for regulatory bodies and mining companies around the world. Mr. Montgomery is responsible for all aspects of Cosigo's exploration activities. He is also the President of Montgomery Consultants Ltd., a geological consulting firm.
Andres M. Rendle Vice-President, South American Operations, Director
Andy Rendle has extensive experience in South America, having been raised in Colombia where he became fluent in Spanish and the dialects spoken by people in the mining industry. He has a BA in geography and political science from the University of Victoria and attended the Colorado School of Mines. Andy has a background in military liason work and corporate security in remote locations. He also has a strong level of experience in environmental issues with primary focus on reforestation issues. In addition, Mr. Rendle grew up involved in social community work while his family was posted in various locations around Latin America under the auspices of a nongovernmental organization with status under the United Nations. Mr. Rendle carries the operational responsibility for Cosigo's activities in Colombia and Brazil.
Christine K.M. Aney Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary
Ms. Aney has a BCom. from the University of British Columbia, and became a Chartered Accountant in British Columbia in 1980. She worked for KPMG Chartered Accountants and became a senior manager before establishing her own firm in 1993. Ms. Aney provides income tax, accounting and audit services to a range of companies, both public and private, including professional firms, retail organizations, farming operations and natural resource companies.
Patrick R. Mooney Director
Mr. Mooney is President of Northspan Explorations Ltd., a contract drilling company based in Kelowna, British Columbia. He has over 31 years' experience in contract drilling and mineral exploration. Pat develops innovative and cost effective exploration drilling equipment and is an expert on low-cost and rapid drilling exploration drilling systems. He has extensive experience in the Spanish speaking countries of South America. Mr. Mooney is responsible for Cosigo's drilling and exploration equipment activities in Canada, Colombia and Brazil.
Edward G. Robinson Director
Mr. Robinson is a partner in LBC International Investigative Accounting Inc., an international public accounting firm that restricts its practice to insurance claims services, litigation support and business valuations. Since joining the firm in 1991, Mr. Robinson has been responsible for the operations of the firm in Western Canada.
Magnus Haglund Exploration Manager, Director
Mr. Haglund has extensive experience in the exploration industry having worked for both public and private exploration companies since the mid-1990's. This experience includes exploring for a range of commodities, including diamonds, gold and uranium. Mr. Haglund holds a MSc degree in Geology and Mineralogy from Abo Akademi University in Turku, Finland. He is also General Manager of Northspan Explorations Ltd., a contract drilling company based in Kelowna, British Columbia.
Barry Holmes Vice President, Corporate Development
Mr. Holmes has 40 years experience in the helicopter industry primarily servicing the exploration industry in western Canada. From June 1992 to February 2012 he was with VIH Helicopters, Canada's largest privately owned helicopter charter company. His last 6 years were in a senior management role responsible for marketing, contract negotiation, and development of First Nations joint venture partnerships. Barry holds a Commercial Helicopter Pilots licence with over 12,500 hours of flying, is a graduate of the Helicopter Association International Management Course XI in California, and completed the Canadian Securities Course serving 3 years in the brokerage industry in the mid 1980's.
From 1964 to 1971 Barry was employed by the British Colombia Forest Service, Inventory Division, as a senior Forest Technician. Inventory Division was responsible for determining sustainable harvest levels and calculating the provincial annual allowable cut for the Chief Forester. These calculations contained loss factors specifically produced by the division that accounted for volume loss averages in standing timber that came from old age, disease and structural damage to representative forest cover as related to site, age, aspect and species composition.
Barry will utilize his diverse experience from the helicopter, exploration, brokerage and forest industries to strategically assist Cosigo's management team in achieving their goals and objectives.
